Back in December, we made a quick trip back to Columbus. We went for Uncle Greg's graduation from PA school, but we extended our stay so that we could visit many of our friends and neighbors. We loved living in Columbus, and it was so good to get to see everyone again. We are definitely going to make in an annual or semi-annual ordeal!
We flew in on Thursday evening.
Greg graduated on Friday afternoon.
We were happy to celebrate him all day, and we even got to enjoy dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants, Cap City Diner.
We are so proud of Uncle Greg!
Saturday was super busy but so fun!
We started the morning off by having breakfast with some of our favorites, Addi and Gwyn.
We went to the Original Pancake House and is was delicious!
After breakfast, we drove through the old neighborhood and spent a little time with the Unkovics! Then we headed over to the Thompson's house, so of our best church friends.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures at either of those two places. :(
Coincidentally, Elizabeth Johnston's birthday was the weekend we were visiting.
Her mom, Sarah, a good friend from church and Bible study invited us to her birthday party at Wendy's Gymnastics!
We were able to play at one of our favorite places while visiting with LOTS of church friends!
After the birthday party, we went over to the Hart's house.
Kerri made dinner for our family and the Flores family.
It was just like old times!
Man, do I miss these two sweet families!
Brooks and his Columbus bestie, Alexander.
The 6 kiddos.
L to R: Brooks, Cristian, Alexander, Annie, Kylie, and Claire.
Besties.
Emily was 37 weeks pregnant with her twin girls at this point.
She loved loving on Quinn!
Me, Emily and Kerri!
All the kids hanging with Quinnie!
I made quilts for Emily's girls!
After dinner, Jon, Quinn, and I went back to the hotel, while Kylie and Brooks spent the night with Annie and Claire. I'm so glad they got the extra time with their sweet friends. And I'm extra glad that Annie and Claire are coming to visit us in Minnesota in April! Yay! Bye for now, Cbus!
