A Columbus Getaway!

Over the long Labor Day weekend, we decided to take a quick trip to Columbus to visit one of our favorite cities that is home to many of our favorite people. We stayed with the Harts, had two dinners with the Hart and Flores families, went to the opening Ohio State football game, and had Quinn baptized at our church there, Hope Presbyterian Church! The kids were in heaven playing with some of their best friends, and Jon and I loved doing many of our favorite Columbus activities. It was a wonderful weekend!

On Saturday, we tailgated and went to the first Buckeye game of the season!
The day started out hot, but we got to see a lot of our friends.
It stormed during half time, and since the Buckeyes were winning, we decided to head out.
After a little afternoon rest, we had a fun dinner at the Flores' house.
It was so great to get the gang back together, and finally meet the twins!

Love these kiddos!

On Sunday, we had Quinn baptized at our church in Columbus, Hope Presbyterian Church.
Quinn was born about 3 weeks before we moved, and we chose her middle name because of what the word, hope, meant to us.
It was really special to have her baptized at a place that is so special to us.

Sunday night, we had dinner at our favorite Columbus restaurant, Third and Hollywood.
We went out with the Harts and Flores, and met up with Theresa and Candace afterwards.

These kiddos got to have a sleepover that last night too!
They loved every minute!

Our flight back wasn't until the evening, so on Monday, we spent a good part of the day playing water games at the Flores' house!

We had an amazing weekend back in Columbus.
We can't wait to visit again!

"Donut Grow Up"

We had a small birthday party with family and a few friends for Quinn's 1st birthday. The theme was "Donut Grow Up," which was super fun! We ate pizza and donuts, opened gifts, and played! It was a nice, little get-together! Here are a few pictures of the fun party:

So Long Sweet Sumer!

Hello school year 2018-2019! Kylie is in 2nd grade this year and Brooks is in kindergarten. Kylie was super excited to go back to school. Brooks was a little nervous on the first day, but recovered nicely and is loving it now! Kylie is enjoying learning new things and playing with her friends, Brooks loves hot lunch and riding the bus! I miss them while they are away, and I can't believe how quiet my days are without them home! Thankfully, I still have Quinn to spend my days with! :)

Sweet Summer!

Summer was so fun and so sweet, and I cherished almost every moment of my extra time with my babies. And as usual, it went way too fast. We played outside, went to the zoo, snuggled on the couch, swam a lot, visited the farm, spent weekends in Hudson, traveled a little, rode bikes, attended a few camps, and played lots of sports! Enjoy some pictures of our days.
