Picture Overload: May Happenings!

We've been busy! Here's some pictures of what we've been up to lately:

I ran the Cap City Half Marathon with friends at the end of April.

Jon took this picture of my friend, Emily, and I giving high fives to our kiddos!

Kylie, Annie, and Claire reading together.

Play doh!

A note from my sweet girl!

Kylie loves to practice writing and reading.
She calls it her "homework."

We love DQ season!

We've been playing and practicing tee ball a lot lately!

Climber boy!

We went to a Clippers game with friends!

Claire, Kylie, Brooks, and Annie with the Clippers mascot.

Kylie and her bestie, Addison, on the last day of preschool.
It's on to kindergarten in the fall!

Kylie and I had pedicures while Brooks was at his last day of "school."

We also went to Panera...Our favorite!

We got our summer hair cuts!

Kylie and Addi saying good-bye to Mrs. DeWeese at the end of the year celebration!

We went to "touch-a-truck" and tried out all different kinds of trucks and tractors.
Brooksie was in heaven!

Digger!

The week after school ended, Kylie went to fun camp!
Each day had a different theme.
This was taken on "crazy day."

We went to the zoo with Addi and Gwyn.

Brooks!

Checking out the trains at Easton.

On Memorial Day, we participated in a run in our city.
Jon, Kylie, and Brooks ran the 1 mile fun run with Phil, Annie, and Claire.

Kylie ran for a whole mile!
Brooks rode in the stroller, and then sprinted the last 100 meters!

We also went hiking at an Ohio State Park called Hocking Hills.
It was a beautiful area with caves, gorges, waterfalls, and forests.

This was at the base of one of the waterfalls.

I posted this picture on our 8th anniversary on May 31st.
This was taken on Halloween 2007 when we dressed as Jim and Pam from The Office.

We went strawberry picking...and then ate all of the strawberries in one day!

Brooksie took his fake, plastic dog, named Huey, for a walk one evening!
I think the boy is going to need a real dog someday! :)

Our NEW House!

We are officially starting to get settled here in Columbus. After about 18 months of renting, we finally bought our own house! We bought a "character" home in an area of Columbus called Upper Arlington. It need a few touch-ups before we could move in. We are so happy with the end result! Here are some before, during, and after pictures of our remodel!
