We had high hopes that winter 2021 would be more normal, but alas, it was not meant to be. We spent a lot of time at home together, and doing winter activities. We were able to sneak away to San Antonio for a week in February, but we ended up stuck in the middle of the biggest Texas snowstorm in over 100 years. We had frozen pipes and rolling black outs while we were there. Thankfully, we got to spend some extra time with our friends, the Hartzlers, because their school and work activities were cancelled for the whole week we were there! Lots of fun memories made!
Kylie played her first season of club volleyball. Kristen and I coached!
We skied and tubed!
We enjoyed a long weekend up north with the Camps and Yuans.
Happy Valentine's Day!
The only place open during the storm was this indoor go cart place!
The kids played and baked. The dads worked! And the moms did TWO 1000 piece puzzles!
We finally go to visit the Alamo on the last day. The snow had melted and it warmed up to around 50 degrees. Balmy compared to our Minnesota winters. It was quite the adventure!
Quinn turned 3.5! Summer birthdays get to celebrate half birthdays at school.
And Jon turned 38!
