Happy 1st Birthday, Quinn Hope Barlow!

This is ONE!
Happy 1st Birthday to Quinn Hope Barlow!

From day 1 to year 1!

Enjoying chocolate chip pancakes on her birthday!

This sweet girl enjoyed opening gifts with help from Kylie and Brooks!

After waiting so long for this girl, her first year has flown by! Even though we considered it many times, I'm so glad we never quit hoping for her! Quinn is sweet as sugar, gives hugs and kisses freely, waves and smile to everyone, and even tries to wink at us! She loves being around people, and receiving attention from anyone, and we love her silly personality.

At ONE year old, Quinn is sleeping well, and actually has been sharing a bedroom with Kylie since she was 10 months old. She goes to bed around 7:30pm and wakes up in the morning around 7:00am. She is taking a daily afternoon nap from about 1:30-4:00pm. She also likes to try to sneak a 20 minute catnap in in the mornings, but I'm trying to get her to drop that one! She is basically eating like a normal human being now - 3 meals per day with milk from a sippy cup at each meal. I also still give her a little whole milk in the bottle when she wakes in the morning and right before bed. But I am hoping to have her completely off the bottle very soon. Her favorite foods are bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, watermelon, sweet potatoes, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, pizza, and of course, whole milk! Her least favorite foods are all green vegetables. At her 12 month well child appointment, Quinn weighed 21 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 30 inches long, both of which are 79th percentile. She is wearing 12-18 month clothes, size 4 diapers, and size 3/4 shoes.

Some of her most recent milestones and accomplishments include pulling to a stand and cruising around furniture. She will even sometimes let go and stand without holding on to anything for a few seconds. She also sometimes walks on her knees, which is pretty cute too! She can climb up stairs at a surprising fast rate, so we have to keep a close eye on her all the time! She can clap, do "so big," play peek-a-boo, wave, and "wink," which is actually a long blink with both eyes! She also signs "more," "milk," and "all done," and says "mama," and "dada." She has all 8 front teeth, and her bottom two 2 year molars. That's sooo many teeth, but it makes for the cutest, toothy smile I've ever seen!

Quinnie Boo is the sweetest little lovey girl! We feel so blessed to be her parents! We love Quinn!
