Winter has been mighty mild here this year, but it's still a little too chilly to spend too much time outside. While we do get out every now and then, most of our winter fun has come indoors. Here are some of the things that we've been doing:
We went to a New Year's Eve party at the library.
We counted down at noon!
Kylie insisted I take her picture like this.
I have no idea.
We had an impromptu Paw Patrol Party with our friends.
We decorated dog and bone shaped cookies, and played "Paw Patrol."
We received TONS of Christmas cards this year.
It's one of the best parts about moving every few years and collecting lots of awesome friends along the way,
We did get about an inch of snow one day.
So we painted it.
Kylie and Brooks got a couple of science experiment books for Christmas.
Our first experiment was making goop!
Kylie modeling her new hat that soon-to-be Aunt Kaaren knitted!
We went to Recreations Outlet and played on the indoor playground equipment.
We also played a little basketball and soccer.
We also made play dough from one of our new books.
Kylie and Brooks had dentist appointments.
It was Brooks' first appointment.
Both kids did well, and neither of them have cavities.
They also let Kylie clean Percy the Pineapple's teeth.
Percy is her class stuffed animal.
We treated ourselves to Panera after doing so well at the dentist.
Then Brooksie colored his entire body with markers during quiet time.
Needless to say, he is not allowed to have markers during quiet time anymore.
Brooks playing the "jingle bells" at music class!
This was the only picture I took on my birthday.
1:26 pm on 1/26.
Best.Sleep.Position.Ever.
We painted Valentine's pictures.
Brooks has just started to draw people.
This was is first attempt!
One of Kylie's masterpieces entitled: "Mom and Kylie in a Rainbow House."
