Happy Thanksgiving from the Barlow fam!
We are so grateful for our sweet kiddos, our amazing family, and all of our friends, new and old. We stayed in Columbus for Thanksgiving, but we weren't lonely. We began the day with the Turkey Trot. Kylie and Brooks ran in their first kids' fun run with their friend Cristian. It was about 100 yards, and they loved it! I ran the 5 mile race with my friend, Emily, who is also Cristian's mom! It was fun and a great way to start a day filled with lots of food! Following the Turkey Trot, we had a Thanksgiving feast at our friends' house. The Thompsons hosted 15 adults and 12 kids. It was mostly families from church, who like us, live far away from our family. The weather was a gorgeous 65 degrees so we spent most of the afternoon outside at the park and playing catch! That evening, we enjoyed our food coma at home watching football and snuggling on the couch!

We couldn't find the turkey, so we settled for the shampoo bottle! :)
We are also holding pies.
The first 2000 (out of 7000) finishers get a free pie! Booyah!
Me and my cheering squad!
We also had a lot of fun Thanksgiving related activites leading up to the holiday. On the Tuesday before, Kylie's preschool class hosted a Thanksgiving Feast for all of the familes. We ate "stone soup" and did some really cute crafts. It was fun to see Kylie in her element!

Brooks' sweet pilgrim hat!
Kylie and her bestie, Addison, in their Indian (I know, not very PC) hats!
Playing a build-a-turkey game with some of her classmates.
I love these answers.
My favorite is Danny's answer: "deer steak and deer horns."
