For the past few years, Jon has had the opportunity to volunteer to work with the Rochester Ice Hawks every now and then. The Ice Hawks are the local hockey team, and Mayo's Orthopedic Department does sports coverage for their games. So basically if someone is badly injured or needs stitches, Jon gets to do work otherwise he just enjoys the game for free. He usually covers 3 or 4 games per year....He had one such game last Saturday. So Kylie and I thought it would be fun to join him for part of it...We lasted for 2 of the 3 periods! The actual game was fun AND we got to see Jon in action! We had a great time hanging out with our little family and meeting their mascot! We can't wait for a few more games next year!

She liked looking at the Ice Hawk's mascot, but did NOT like being held by him!
I'm pretty sure that's what Kaia would think of the mascot, too!! :). She is adorable!
